These developments and the creation of the BIMP EAGA, which capitalize on geo-economic
cooperation and complimentarily has given Brunei Darussalam an opportunity to be
a service hub for trade and tourism in the BIMP EAGA.
We have a vision and a mission of creating Brunei Darussalam as a Service Hub for
Trade and Tourism by the year 2003.
The objectives of Brunei Darussalam as a service hub for trade and tourism "SHuTT"
is to promote activities in the following areas :
- Import and export through Brunei Darussalam
- Travel to and through Brunei Darussalam
- Do your business in and through Brunei Darussalam
- Communicate from and through Brunei Darussalam
These activities basically focus on the development of the transport and communication
services and infrastructure in Brunei Darussalam .
To promote these activities and to provide a point of focus for agencies and the
business community in the transport and communication sector themes for development
are set in the main area of activities such as :
