Catalystic Responsibility
To identify and implement the basic purposes and actions in fulfilling the nation's
development in order to reach its objectives and bringing about mobilization of the
services offered in diversifying the country's basic economy. And at the same time
indirectly contributing to the conducive climate for the expansion of industries and
participation of private sectors which is dominant, firm and competitive regionally as
well as globally.
Main Function / Roles
- To plan, create and develop the transportation industry - maritime, land and air and
communications industry - global post and telecommunications, to fulfill the country's
needs, progress and prosperity.
- To prepare and update the country's laws and regulations via services offered to the
public made easy, fast, safe, reliable and satisfactory.
- To establish a competitive and conducive climate for growth of industries and to develop
and promote services offered by the departments under the Ministry of Communications.
