Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for all the Department's procurements and payments and ensuring the processes and procedures are in accordance with the Financial Regulations.
  2. Preparing budget estimates, monitoring and managing the Department's budget according to the priority and requirements of every section or unit in the Department.
  3. Processing and approving payments for allowances such as acting allowance, travelling allowance, overtime allowance, overnight allowance for all officers and staffs of the Department.
  4. Processing the payment of salary and bonus for all officers and staffs of the Department.
  5. Processing the application of government car loan and housing loan, leave and passage allowance and education allowance for all officers and staffs of the Department.
  6. Responsible in ensuring the revenue collection procedures meet the needs of the Department and in accordance with the Financial Regulations.
