Ambassador of Sweden to Brunei, Par Ahlberger (left) and the Minister of Communications.

The Ambassador of Sweden to Brunei, Par Ahlberger, yesterday paid a farewell courtesy visit to the Minister of Communications, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong.

The courtesy call took place at the Ministry of Communications (MoC).

Also present at the event was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Communications, Haji Alaihuddin bin POKDGSLDSU haji Mohammad Taha and other senior officers.

Mr Par Ahlberger led a delegation comprising key representatives of Swedish companies such as Ericsson and Saab.

Brunei Darussalam and Sweden established diplomatic relations in 1984. In addition, the cooperation between the private sectors of Brunei Darussalam and Sweden has also deepened, particularly in the ICT sector.
