November 1986	:	Appointed as Personal Assistant to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and later as a Second Secretary at Brunei High Commission to New Zealand (Non-Resident), Ministry of Foreign Affairs
October 1987 - October 1990	:	Posted as Second Secretary, Brunei Embassy in Washington D.C., USA
October 1990 - September 1991	:	Appointed as Administrative Officer Special Grade at Permanent Secretary's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
